Overview

The Server Splitter tab is an exclusive feature available only to users subscribed to the Dedicated Plan. This functionality allows users to allocate the resources of their dedicated server into different sub-servers, optimizing the distribution and management of server resources.

Key Points:

  • Dedicated Plan Requirement: The Server Splitter feature is only available to users with a dedicated server plan.

  • Resource Allocation: Users can split their dedicated server resources into multiple sub-servers, each with a specified portion of the total available resources.

Limitations:

While the Server Splitter feature offers flexibility, it comes with certain limitations that users should be aware of:

  • Shared IPs: Split servers may operate with shared IPs, which can affect performance and security.

  • No Testing Credits: Users may not have access to testing credits when using split servers.

  • Slower Processing Times: Due to resource division among sub-servers, processing times may be slower.

  • Unknown Quantity of Shared Servers: The exact number of shared servers may be unclear, leading to potential resource contention.

Recommendation:

For users seeking guaranteed quality, especially for high-performance tasks, it is recommended to use a dedicated plan like Essentials or Performance. These plans offer dedicated IP addresses and access to other exclusive features, ensuring higher reliability and efficiency.
