To upload assets, your group must have administrative ranks. This tutorial will guide you through setting up these ranks. Administrative ranks manage your admins, and the number of admin accounts can be adjusted in the settings under totalAdmins. The available number of rank slots are as follows: Essential - 5, Performance - 10, and Dedicated - 20.
Navigate to "Configure Roles":
Go to the "Configure Roles" section in your group's dashboard.
Create Admin Role:
Create an admin role.
You do not need to set the permissions, as the group manager will automatically configure them.
Rank Position:
Set the admin role as the 3rd highest rank, behind the holder role and owner role.
Admin Role Exclusivity:
Ensure that the admin ranks only include our admins and no other users.
Following these steps will correctly set up your admin roles for efficient group management and asset uploads.
Navigate to Commands Tab:
Go to the commands tab in your group's dashboard.
Scroll to "Admin Ranks" Section:
Scroll down until you find the "Admin Ranks" section.
Input Admin Role Details:
Enter your admin role's name and rank.
Add Rank:
Click the "Add Rank" button to finalize the addition.
This ensures your admin role is properly configured in the dashboard for efficient management.
Understanding Pending Admin Rank Changes
View Pending Change:
After adding your admin rank, you will see a pending change with "create: true" and "edit: false".
Pending Rank System:
This system allows you to add ranks in the future efficiently.
If an admin rank with the same name already exists, it will add the role to the admin ranks.
If no role with the same name exists, it will create a new admin rank using group funds.
By understanding this system, you can manage and add admin ranks seamlessly as your group evolves.
For this tutorial, I will only be using one admin rank for the simplicity.
